FINISH Society is actively working to promote clean, reliable, and sustainable energy solutions in remote, underserved, and climate-vulnerable regions of India. Our renewable energy and solar street lighting initiatives aim to reduce carbon emissions, improve safety, and ensure uninterrupted access to electricity for schools, hospitals, and communities where grid power is unreliable or unavailable.
In partnership with SBI Card and Signify Foundation, FINISH Society has installed nearly 650 kW of solar power plants and over 1,000 solar lights across Odisha, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, and Rajasthan, strengthening energy access while advancing climate action.

What We Do

- Provide solar home lights and solar street lights in remote villages and forest regions

How We Do It
- Collaborate with corporates and foundations to design location-specific solar solutions
- Implement rooftop and ground-mounted solar systems for uninterrupted power supply
- Deploy solar street lights in forest areas, villages, and public spaces
- Ensure community orientation and coordination with local authorities for smooth operations
Our Work Across Regions
Solar Power Plants
- Madhyamik School, Gopalganj (Bihar):
Implemented with Signify Foundation, this solar plant ensures reliable electricity for education, reduces carbon emissions, and serves as a symbol of sustainable learning. The initiative was supported by actor Pankaj Tripathi, highlighting the role of collective action in climate responsibility. - Government Hospitals, Karauli District (Rajasthan):
In partnership with SBI Card, solar power plants were installed at:- Freedom Fighter Shiv Raj Singh Government District Hospital (Old Building), Karauli
- District Hospital, Karauli
- District Hospital, Hindaun City
These installations reduce operational costs and support greener healthcare infrastructure.
Street Lighting & Home Lighting
- Kartaniyaghat Forest, Bahraich (Uttar Pradesh):
Around 70 solar street lights installed at forest department offices and outposts, improving safety and reducing human–animal conflict in electricity-scarce areas.
Jharsuguda, Odisha:
Over 1,000 solar lights distributed in forest villages, along with solar street lights, significantly improving safety, mobility, and quality of life.
