Job Description: –
Training Design & Content Development
Develop structured training modules on:
o Solid Waste Management (segregation, composting, recycling)
o WASH (sanitation, hygiene behavior, safe water practices)
o Financial Literacy (bookkeeping, savings, credit management, bank linkages)
Training Delivery & Facilitation
• Conduct interactive training sessions for SHGs, community members, and local institutions
• Use participatory methods (role plays, group discussions, demonstrations)
• Ensure inclusive participation (women, marginalized groups)
• Organize village/ ward -level demonstrations (e.g., composting units, hygiene practices)
Capacity Building & Handholding
• Provide continuous mentoring and handholding support to SHGs post-training
• Build leadership and management skills within SHGs
• Strengthen community resource persons (CRPs) for sustainability
Training Assessment & Quality Assurance
• Conduct pre- and post-training assessments
• Track behavior change and adoption of practices at household/community level
• Collect feedback and improve training approaches
Coordination & Field Engagement
• Work closely with Program Associates for scheduling and mobilization
• Coordinate with local stakeholders for training logistics
• Travel extensively across project villages
Experience:- 3–5 years of experience in training and capacity building in the development sector. Exposure to WASH, SWM, or financial literacy programs is highly preferred, Proven experience in designing and delivering training for SHGs/community groups
Qualification:- Graduate/Postgraduate in Rural Development, Environmental Science, or a related field.
Skills Required:-
Proficient in use of Computer Applications, Team handling, Decent Communication, Positive attitude, Team oriented, willingness to learn, etc.
Location:- Chirala, Andhra Pradesh
Remuneration:- CTC upto Rs.25,000/- PM, travel extra as per project norms.
Language:- Proficiency in Telugu and English. Understanding of Hindi language is an advantage.
