Role:- Project Officer- Technical- 1 Position
Job Description: –
a. Visiting schools for Gap assessments, liaising with the school teachers/SMC and coordinating for any construction activities in school
b. Planning construction work related to school WASH, SLWM.
c. Preparing estimates and designs for the construction work
d. Meeting with SMCs / GP members for Local contribution or leveraging funds for construction activities
e. Coordinating for Contractor selection process
f. Visiting schools for daily monitoring, coordinating with contractors and supervising for implementation of work
g. Ensuring quality of construction work in the Project area.
h. Preparing MB and submitting the same to the Project Manager
i. Preparing documentation related to construction work including before after images, verification notes, checklists, NOCs, completion and handing over letters from respective schools/GPs
j. Tracking infrastructure works and ensuring timely delivery of targets
k. Handle other tasks as guided by the management.
Experience:- 3 to 5 years of relevant experience.
Qualification:- Graduate/Postgraduate in Civil Engineering.
Skills Required:-
a. Autocad, Designing, Estimations, BOQs, MB books etc.
b. Good communication skills in hindi; basic English and reporting ability preferred.
c. Proficient in MS Office, data collection tools.
d. Must be willing to travel extensively within rural areas
e. Passionate about working with rural communities.
f. Problem-solving and self-motivated attitude.
g. Team player with empathy and grassroots connect
Location:- Kapurthala, Punjab
Remuneration:- CTC Between- Rs.28000/- PM- Rs.32000/-PM, travel extra as per project norms.
