Our Story
Since 2009, we have been striving to create an ecosystem that connects people’s well-being with environmental sustainability. What began with sanitation and WASH has now grown into a holistic approach that also embraces menstrual health management (MHM), solid and liquid waste management (SWM & LWM), skill development, livelihoods, and even sports.
Our purpose is clear: to bring lasting change in people’s lives while ensuring a positive impact on the environment. We empower communities with knowledge, access, and opportunities—helping them live with dignity, build resilience, and unlock their potential. At FINISH, we believe that improving sanitation, promoting hygiene, managing resources responsibly, enhancing skills, and nurturing healthy lifestyles are all interconnected. Together, they form a cycle of change that not only uplifts individuals but also strengthens society and safeguards our planet.
This is why we do what we do—because building healthier lives and a healthier environment, hand in hand, is at the core of our mission.

By 2014, FINISH had expanded local partnerships significantly. The programme’s reach widened with strong backing from CSR, aid agencies, and foundations.

Partnerships deepened with both new CSR partners and microfinance institutions. 80% of projects now came from long-standing, trusted donor relationships.
Continued scaling with expanded partnerships and strengthened programme implementation across multiple states. Marked a significant phase of consolidation and innovation in WASH and related development sectors.
