- Role:- Project Associate
- Job Description: –
A)– Mobilization & Community Engagement
-Conduct regular visits to assigned wards as allotted by the Project Manager.
-Undertake door-to-door visits for Solid Waste Management (SWM) awareness along with Green Force.
-Create and promote awareness on source segregation, waste reduction, reuse, and composting practices.
-Ensure waste segregation at household level in the assigned project geography.
-Motivate households to adopt home composting practices.
-Mobilize community members to participate in SWM campaigns, rallies, meetings, and cleanliness drives.
B)-Maintain good working relationships with GMC officials and other stake holders.
C)–Regularly monitor progress of SWM activities and track key performance indicators.
D)-Maintain daily field records and update KOBO application on a regular basis.
E)–Collect and compile data related to waste segregation, composting, and community participation.
F)-Document best practices, challenges, and learnings from the field.
- Experience:- 2 to 4 years of experience in waste management.
- Qualification:- Graduate/Postgraduate in Rural Development, Environmental Science, or a related field.
- Skills Required:-
Good communication skills in Telegu; basic English and reporting ability preferred.
Proficient in MS Office, data collection tools.
Must be willing to travel extensively within rural areas.
Strong understanding of Waste Management.
Passionate about working with rural communities.
Problem-solving and self-motivated attitude.
Team player with empathy and grassroots connect.
- Location:- Chirala, Andhra Pradesh
- Remuneration:- Between upto INR 18,000/ to 20,000/ – PM, travel extra as per project norms.
